Usually if a book hasn't "grabbed" me in the first two chapters I put it down. I'm glad I continued and completed "A Garden to Keep".
Being an uncomplicated person my brain kinda bumped into itself at all the quotes from poetry, music, books. You don't have to be a genius to understand how it all comes together and the author does it well/5(53).
"A Garden to Keep" took me a loooooong time to get through. I would read a bit, put it down, pick it back up later, put it back down. The reason I didn't quit is that it was so good, but it was a narrative type book, so I felt I could read it like a diary almost/5.
